WLP091 – Best Coast Hazy Ale Yeast

This product has been superseded and can now be purchased in the larger pack size at 2X the pitching rate, WLP091 Best Coast Hazy Ale Yeast – PurePitch Next Generation (KL34050).

The Best Coast Hazy Ale yeast strain produces amazing hazy beers such as NEIPA’s which accentuate the punchy hop flavours and aromas of fresh citrus and tropical fruit. This yeast blend foregoes the long standing battle between East Cost and West Coast IPA’s and instead makes it’s own juicebomb statement when used in conjunction with new-world hops.

Attenuation 70% – 75%
Flocculation Medium/High (8-12%)
Alcohol Tolerance High (10 – 15%)
Optimum Temperature 20°C – 22°C

 

To ensure a healthy fermentation it is a good idea to incorporate some yeast nutrient in your brewing. You can purchase some here.
